SUMMARY:The Impact of COVID-Related Grief on Palliative Care Clinicians
DESCRIPTION:Center to Advance Palliative Care – Master Clinician Series \nRay Hanbury\, PhD\, ABPP\nChief Psychologist\, Department of Psychiatry; Director of Psychology Education\, Jersey Shore University Medical Center \nIn this Master Clinician\, Dr. Hanbury\, a trauma psychology specialist\, will present a framework for understanding loss and grief. After outlining natural responses to loss\, Dr. Hanbury will listen to stories from several palliative care clinicians who are experiencing the emotional toll of COVID-19. He will offer guidance for a healthy response to these feelings\, and then address questions from the audience.
